Time Management Job Search

Time management is the huge problem even in a structured work environment.  There are only 24 hours each day.  There is simply not enough time in the day to get all the work done.

Your point of view directly impacts how you choose to see time and how you invest your time in your job search.  Your current job search is probably the most difficult job you will ever have.  When you structure your job search more effectively it raises your level of intensity, effectiveness, and provides a feeling of certainty and satisfaction.

Job seekers often end up working on the minutiae of the job search and numerous daily problems instead of focusing on the most effective strategy and tactics.  Consequently the creative and innovative aspect of the search does not get sufficient time.  We’ll talk making conscious decisions about how to use time the way you choose and derive more satisfaction and results from your search.  There will be plenty of conversation to get different perspectives on the challenge.

Neil Cooper is a professional leader and personal development coach.

I work with people in career transition who are looking for a new job, looking to improve their leadership skills and become indispensable on their job, and people seeking help navigating political situations at work. I also work with young business owners who want to develop their career into the ideal image of what they thought it would.  I was certified as a coach in 2008 after graduating from the International School for Professional Excellence in Coaching, www.iPECCoaching.com in Shrewsbury NJ.

I studied Neuro Linguistic Programming at the NLP Center in NYC.  I attended the School of Hard Knocks having spent my adult life in the men’s fashion business.  I have developed a 5-step process to develop your career plan.  It is a process to accelerate your career search and turn it into a measurable action plan with a target and daily activities.
